Sensex soars 230 points as sentiments eased on Brexit

Tata Motors witnessed a strong buying interest, ending as a top gainers. The shares of the company surged 19.60 points or 4.23% at Rs. 482.80. The stock opened flat at Rs. 463.50 from its previous closing. Total traded quantity was around Rs. 9.06 lakh against two weeks average quantity of Rs. 9.90 lakhs.
Bank Nifty ends at 17,718.60 surging 22 points. Canara Bank was the top gainer by soaring 3% at Rs. 208.30.
Aviation stock ended in green on government allowing 100% FDI in the sector. SpiceJet ended at Rs. 68.80 up 6.58%, Jet Airway at Rs. 584.40 jumps 6.25% and InterGlobe Aviation at Rs. 1,073 up 6.2%.
Sensex touched a day's high by surging over 230 points. The index opened negatively on Rexit news, however surged on global cues overcoming Brexit fears. The 30 stock - index ended at 26,857.44, with 20 advances and 10 declines. Total turnover stood at Rs. 400.39 crore with volume of around 8,378,245.
Andhra Bank is trading at Rs. 55.55 up 1.83% as, it proposes to issue Basel-III Tier-2 debt bonds series-C worth 10 bln rupees. Total traded quantity stood at Rs. 4.54 lakh against two weeks average quantity of Rs. 3.17 lakh.
