Sensex up 134 points; Small Cap rallies by 120 pts

On Monday trading session, Sensex ended above 134 points at 27,278.76. It opened at 27,314.44 higher from its previous closing of 27,144.91. Overall the index was positive with 18 advances and 12 declines. Total turnover was at Rs. 297.05 crore with volume of 6,494,342. Among the volume toppers were Tata Motors and State Bank of India by recording turnover of Rs. 38.03 crore and Rs. 37.69 crore respectively.
Market movers were the major reason to take Sensex above 200 points. IT stocks too gained relaxing its Brexit fear. Tata Motors at Rs. 472.75 up 3.24%, ICICI Bank at Rs. 246.10 surging by 2.37%, State Bank of India at Rs. 223.85 jumps 2%. The IT-giant Infosys too rallied on exchange by above 1.70% at Rs. 1,192.05. Reliance Industries, Larsen & Tourbo, Tata Steel , Sun Pharma and Coal India were trading between the range of 1%-1.60%.
