European markets are higher today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is up 0.58% while France's CAC 40 is up 0.27% and London's FTSE 100 is up 0.10%.

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri slumped by 1.05% to Rs. 71 after the rating agency CRISIL downgrades long term rating from CRISIL A- to CRISIL BBB+. The stock opened at Rs. 71.30 unchanged from its previous closing.
Government revises request for proposal for Specified Undertaking of Unit Trust of India (SUUTI) stake sale in ITC, L&T and Axis Bank. The share price of ITC was trading at Rs. 252.05 up by 0.30%, while Larsen & Toubro was above 0.35% to Rs. 1,590.95 and that Axis Bank surged by 0.97% to Rs. 543.50.

Rupee today opened steady compared to previous trading session. The local currency is trading 67,403 down by 0.008 paise or 0.01%. It opened at 67.411.
Asian markets are mixed as Japan shares slump and Chinese and Hong Kong shares show gains. The Shanghai Composite is up 0.43% at 3,028.65 while the Hang Seng is up 0.79% at 22,166.24. The Nikkei 225 shrinked 1.55% to 16,362.88.
