The Prime Minister said that the idea of "sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, sabka prayas" (meaning "everyone's support, everyone's development, everyone's faith, everyone's effort") can guide the world.
The onset of the annual meeting of the all-powerful G20 bloc comes amid a string of preparations including strict traffic restrictions and tight security arrangements. PM Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with leaders from Germany, Britain, Japan, and Italy on the first day of the two-day mega event. On the eve of the first day of the G20 Summit, PM Modi held bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden covering a wide range of issues focused on deepening the bond between the two countries.
