Covid today Highlights: Time to put the mask back on! According to Union health ministry data updated on Friday, India logged 6,050 fresh COVID-19 cases, the highest in 203 days. Besides, the active cases have increased to 28,303. The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 3.32 per cent while the weekly positivity rate has been pegged at 2.89 per cent. The total tally of COVID cases stands at 4.47 crore (4,47,39,054), according to the health ministry.

The Goa government resumed in-patient testing at state-run hospitals using antigen testing kits, a minister said. Goa had on Thursday recorded 162 new cases of coronavirus infection, which raised the active tally in the state to 872 on Friday.
Requested all the health ministers to review health facilities and infrastructure in view of the Covid in their respective States & also visit the hospital on April 10 & 11 when a COVID mock drill will be conducted across the country.

Coronavirus Live Updates: Covid-19 cases in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh reported its first death due to Covid-19 this year. The state also reported 192 fresh Covid cases during the day while 68 patients recovered, including one in the state capital Lucknow. Currently, there are 842 active Covid cases in the state.
An elderly woman died during treatment on Thursday who had tested positive for Covid-19 on April 2 while 35 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in Lucknow. The state has reported 23,650 deaths till now.
