While the BJP's Shankar Lalwani took a decisive lead of over eight lakh votes in Indore, the second-highest votes were counted in favour of NOTA.

As India awaits the outcome of the ongoing vote-counting exercise for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, CP Joshi, BJP president and Lok Sabha candidate from Chittorgarh, has expressed strong confidence in the BJP securing a decisive victory both in Rajasthan and nationally. "We have full faith that the BJP is getting a clear and full majority. BJP's aim of "400 paar" will definitely be accomplished. In Rajasthan too, BJP is going to get majority. The public of Rajasthan is trusting "Modi ki Guarantee", Joshi told news agency ANI.
The Congress party is now on its way to becoming a regional party instead of a national one, Joshi added.
