Independence Day 2024, 78th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi Independence Day Speech, August 15, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who returned to power for a third straight term in June, said that the country's citizens can achieve the goal of being a prosperous and developed nation if they walk shoulder to shoulder with united resolve as he unfurled the national flag for the 11th time in a row from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day. In his address on the country's 78th Independence Day, PM Modi said his government has constantly rolled out major reforms and worked tirelessly to change the mindset of living with status quo, thus transforming the lives of important sections of the society such as the middle class and the poor. Describing the Modi 3.0 government's commitment to reforms as the blueprint for growth, the Prime Minister said that the strength of the banking sector has powered the progress in every sector.
