Earlier this month, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. It has been notified by CBSE that the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been postponed as of now. The decision regarding the revised date sheet for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021. As per a recent circular by CBSE, "Augmenting the thrust towards CBE, the Board is initiating further corresponding changes in the Examination and Assessment practices for the year 2021-22." As a result of this, in the forthcoming sessions a greater number of Competency Based Questions or questions that assess application of concepts in real-life/ unfamiliar situations will be part of the question paper.
