CBSE CISCE Board Exams Postponed 2021: Amidst the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to cancel the class 10 board exams and postpone the class 12 board exams. Soon after CBSE's decision, there were expectations from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) students regarding a similar decision from their board. Finally, the CISCE also announced the deferment of the ICSE and ISC board exams for class 10 and class 12 respectively.
Though the CBSE and the CISCE board exams have been deferred, the class 10 class 12 candidates who were supposed to appear for the board exams must remember some important points. They are as follows:

The results for the CBSE class 10 board exam candidates will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be decided by the board. If any CBSE class 10 board exam candidate is not satisfied with the marks will have the option to sit for a written exam when the circumstances are favourable. Source: PTI

The ICSE class 10 board exam candidates will be given the following two options - to write offline exams along with the class 12 candidates, not to write the offline exams.
