Amidst the rising demands to cancel or postpone the CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams due to the adverse effect of COVID-19 in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', Education Secretary and other top officials at 12 noon to discuss Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) board examinations. It has been decided that the CBSE class 12 board exams have been postponed. Meanwhile, the CBSE class 10 board exams have been cancelled. Here are the highlights of the decision regarding the CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams:

The CBSE class 12 board exams are hereby postponed.  The situation will be reviewed on June 1, 2021, by the board and details will be shared subsequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations. Source: PTI
