CBSE Board Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally cancelled the CBSE class 10 board exams in view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The CBSE class 12 board exams have been postponed as of now. The decision was taken earlier this week at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Cabinet Secretary, School and Higher Education Secretaries and other top officials. Now, with the CBSE class 10 board exams being cancelled, the one major concern for the CBSE class 10 board exam candidates and their parents is that how will the results of the candidates prepared. CBSE notification
The CBSE notification reads, "The results of Class X Board will be prepared on the basis of objective criterion to be developed by the Board. Any candidate who is not satisfied by the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams." CBSE class 12 board exams
As far as the CBSE class 12 board exams are concerned, they have been postponed as of now and a decision will be taken on the CBSSE class 12 board exams on June 1, 2021, following a review of the situation. The CBSE class 12 candidates must note that a notice at least 15 days before the commencement of the exams will be given to them. Source: PTI
