CBSE Board Exam 2021: The CBSE class 10 class 12 board exam candidates have a reason to rejoice as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed the class 10 class 12 board exam candidates to appear in the improvement exam in the same year.
Best of the two marks in final scorecard
The CBSE class 10 class 12 board exam candidates will be allowed to sit for the compartment exam soon after the conclusion of the class 10 class 12 board exams. In the final scorecard, the best of the two marks will be considered. Source: PTI
Opportunity to improve performance
The CBSE class 10 class 12 students will be given an opportunity to improve their performance only in one subject in compartment exam. This exam will be conducted immediately after the conclusion of the CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams. Source: PTI
Improvement for more than two subjects
In case a CBSE board exam candidate wishes to appear for improvement in more than two subjects, they need to appear in the exam as per the old rules. Source: PTI
Available for CBSE board exams 2021 candidates
This permission will be made available to the candidates appearing in 2021 examination and if they wish to improve their performance in any one subject, they may again apply in the Compartment Examination for appearing to improve their performance. Source: PTI
