West Bengal Board Class 10, Class 12 Exams 2021 News: CANCELLED! Mamata Banerjee makes big announcement for Madhyamik, Higher Secondary students
The West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates must note that the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 Madhyamik and Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Higher Secondary have been cancelled in the state.
West Bengal Board Exam 2021 Cancelled News: The West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates must note that the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 Madhyamik and Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Higher Secondary have been cancelled in the state. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary exams for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2021 candidates, respectively have been cancelled.

News agency ANI has tweeted about this decision of the West Bengal government regarding the cancellation of the Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The tweet said, "West Bengal state board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 have been cancelled: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee."

Incidentally, on Sunday West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced that the state government will form an expert committee to recommend whether secondary and higher secondary classes should be conducted as per an ANI report. In regard to the WBBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the state government also invited the opinions of the parents and the students. In a series of tweets, West Bengal CM said, "Our children's future is my greatest priority. To this regard, we have formed an expert committee to decide over holding the Class 10th and 12th board exams in 2021." The West Bengal government invited opinions from students, parents and all other sections of the society till 2 PM today.
On June 1, 2021, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting, it was announced that the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been cancelled. It was also announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will evaluate the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 on the basis of an objective criteria. Also, it was announced that if any student is not satisfied with the marks allotted to him or her, the student will be given the option to sit for the exam after the circumstances become suitable.
Soon, after CBSE's decision to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the CISCE also cancelled the ISC Class 12 Board Exam 2021 and several other state boards also cancelled their Class 12 Board Exams 2021.
Earlier, West Bengal CM announced that the Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 would be held in July and August from their respective schools. The West Bengal Chief Minister had also stated that the Class 12 Higher Secondary Board Exams 2021 would be conducted in the last week of July and the Class 10 Madhyamik Board Exams 2021 would be conducted in the second week of August. Furthermore, the state government decided to conduct the West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 in a shorter format.
Nevertheless, today, the West Bengal government decided to call off the WBBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021.
