UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2021: Notification for filling in 159 vacancies released - check here for eligibility, exam pattern, exam date, last day to apply and all other details

UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification to conduct examination for recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) (Assistant Commandants). Tentatively there are 159 vacancies to be filled based on the results of the examination. The interested candidates can apply online for the exam at upsconline.nic.in.

The last date to apply for online application is May 5, 2021 till 6 PM.

Eligibility: The interested candidates must note that an Indian citizen, male and female can apply for the posts. A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on August 1, 2021.

How to apply?: The interested candidates who will be applying online need to remember some simple points for online application. They are as follows:

1) The candidates need to apply online only by logging in to the following website at upsconline.nic.in. The candidates must follow the instructions given for filling up the online application form.

2) The candidates must have the details of one photo id card like aadhaar card/ voter card/ pan card/ passport/driving license or any other photo id card issued by the central or the state government.

3) The candidates will have to provide the details of the photo id card while filling the online application.

4) The candidates also need to upload the scanned image of the photo id card.

The eligible candidates must note that they will be issued an e-admission certificate three weeks before the commencement of the exam. The candidates can download the e-admission certificate by logging in to upsconline.nic.in. The candidates must also note that no e-admission certificates will be sent by post.

Application fee: The interested candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 200.

Exam date: The UPSC will conduct the written exam on August 8, 2021.

Exam pattern: The UPSC CAPF exam will comprise of two papers. Paper 1 (General Ability and Intelligence) will consist of 250 marks and Paper  (General Studies, Essay and Comprehension) will consist of 200 marks.

Last date: The last date for online application is May 5, 2021 till 6 PM.
