UP Board Exam 2021 Date: Board students have been in a sea of uncertainty for quite some time due to the corona pandemic, but now things are clearing up and new important facts are coming up that will help them to better navigate their way through the UP Board Exam 2021. As afar as the centre goes, there will be only one invigilator in a room to monitor examination during the UP Board Exam 2021 as against two, said a media report. As per HT report, UP Education Department has taken this decision keeping in mind that examination hall has been increased to accommodate candidates suffering from less fever due to Covid 19 infection, however, invigilators are limited.
They said this has been done to ensure social distancing norms at examination centres. All due state approved guidelines have been taken into consideration while allocating examination centers by UP Board Intermediate Exam 2021 and UP Board High School Exam 2021.
As per officials, maximum 800 students and minimum 150 students will be seated in an examination centre during UP Board exam 2021. Last, year there were 1200 students in one examination centre. Similarly, each student will be given space of 36 square foot instead of 20 sqft that was given earlier.

As per UP Board guidelines, around 14 to 15 students will be seated in a 500 square feet room. This way social distancing will be followed and there will be enough distance between two candidates.
To keep ensure social distancing protocol, the UP government has almost doubled number of examination centers this year. As against 7783 exam centres in 2020, there will be 14000 centres this year. This can create shortage of teachers to manage huge examination centres.
The idea of keeping double invigilators in one exam room, as per old practice, could be difficult, especially in popular exams such as Hindi, English, science, social science etc exams, where a large number of students appear.
“ We will maintain all Covid19 norms, including social distancing, and keep safe distance between two students in an examination room,” Hindustan Times quoted IP Board secretary as saying.
