Telangana Schools, educational institutions and Anganwadis to REOPEN from September 1 - CM K Chandrasekhar Rao Govt issues THESE directives
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed to reopen all educational institutions and Anganwadi centres from September 1, 2021.
The Telangana government has decided to reopen all schools and Anganwadi centres from September 1, 2021. The decision has been taken at a high-level review meeting chaired by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday.

News agency ANI reported that the Telangana government's decision to reopen all educational institutions include all government and private educational institutions and Anganwadi centres. The Telangana Chief Minister has also issued certain directives to be followed regarding the reopening of the schools.
The ANI report stated that the Telangana CM has issued ordered to all the ministers and officials of Municipal and Panchayat Raj departments to clean and sanitise all the educational institutions and hostels by August 30, 2021. The premises of all educational institutions and water tanks should be cleaned and full sanitisation of the classrooms will have to take place.
While addressing the meeting Rao said, "We have studied the measures and strategies of different states of the country to reopen educational institutions. We have discussed with the medical and Health Department, who gave reports that the COVID-19 situation is much under control that the previous months."
Furthermore, Rao also said that if any student is found with any COVID-19 symptoms, once the schools are reopened, the principal of the school will have to take the student to the nearest Primary Health Centre for a COVID-19 test. if any student is detected with COVID-19 positive, the student will be sent to the parents. The CM has also ordered that the students must wear masks and maintain social distancing.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the state governments to close the educational institutions.
Speaking of the COVID-19 situation in the country, as per the data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as on August 25, 2021, India reported 37,593 new cases in the last 24 hours.
