Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the CBSE had earlier this month also cancelled Class 12 exams. Following which many other state boards have also announced similar decisions.

The CBSE Class 12 board examination was cancelled after a high-level meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi on June 1. The exams were scheduled to be conducted in May-June. The CBSE has already cancelled Class 10 Board Exams and announced an alternative marking policy.

The Class 10 board results are expected to be declared in June-end. The board had earlier made it clear that the entire process of tabulation of marks will be completed by June 11 and the result will be declared by the third week of June. The CBSE, however, extended the date for schools to upload Class 10 students’ marks till June 30.
