Bank recruitment: India’s largest public sector lender, State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the results of the preliminary examination for the recruitment of probationary officers on its official website sbi.co.in.
The exam was held on XX DATE to fill up 1,673 vacancies (General – 648, OBC – 464 , SC – 270, ST –131). The SBI PO preliminary examination 2022 was conducted on December 17, 18, 19 and 20 across the country.
The candidates who have cleared this examination will be eligible to appear in the SBI PO mains examination which will be held on January 30.

SBI PO Main exam – Pattern of questions in mains and marks
The SBI PO Main exam will be conducted on January 30, 2023. The SBI PO Mains 2022 exam consists of an objective type test for 200 marks and a descriptive type test of 50 marks. The descriptive test is conducted for 30 minutes duration for Essay and Letter writing in English.
SBI PO salary and grade
All the candidates who will be selected for SBI PO will get the starting basic pay is Rs 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
