A total of 118 Indian universities have secured a place in QS Asia University rankings this year. The list was released on November 8. A total of 760 Asian universities have features on the university ranking list.  Peking University, China, has improved its number this year to grab the first position. The varsity had secured second position in QS Asia 2022 rankings.
IIT Bombay jumped to the 40th rank

Five Indian Institutes of Technology with IISc and Delhi University have entered the prestigious group of the top 100 institutes in Asia. IIT-Bombay has improved its position from last year’s 42nd to 40th rank this year followed by IIT Delhi (46) and IIT Madras (59).
