Academic Session 2024-25: NTA releases exam calendar for JEE, CUET, NEET | Check date, other important details

NTA 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Tuesday, September 19, the examination schedule for various entrance exams for the academic session 2024–25. The schedule includes exam dates for the Joint Entrance Examination for sessions 1 and 2, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), and the Common University Entrance Test for UG, PG, and NET 2024.

As per the calendar, the NEET exam for the year 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024. Additionally, the exam will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Furthermore, the NTA also mentioned that Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main-2024) session 1 is slated to take place from January 24 to February 1, 2024. While JEE Main 2024 session 2 is scheduled to occur from April 1 to April 15, 2024.

Regarding the Common University Entrance Test-UG (CUET-UG) for 2024, UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar took to X (formerly Twitter) and announced that UGC exams (UG, PG, and NET) will be conducted by the NTA.

CUET 2024 Exam Schedule

CUET-UG 2024 will take place between May 15 and May 31, 2024.

The CUET-PG 2024 is set to be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

While UGC NET Session 1 is planned to be scheduled from June 10 to June 21, 2024.

The NTA has clarified that the specific details related to the exam "shall be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective examinations, which will be published at the time of the launch of Registration Forms of these examinations."

It should be noted that the results of all "CBT Examinations shall be announced within three weeks of the conclusion of the examination. For NEET (UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by the second week of June, 2024."
