NEET PG 2021 counselling starts from today: Here are the important updates that candidates must know
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2021 counselling from today, January 12, 2022.

There are certain points regarding the NEET PG 2021 counselling that the candidates must know. They are as follows:
1) NEET PG 2021 candidates with scores at or cut-off scores (302/50th percentile for UR/EWS; 265/40th percentile for OBC/SC/ST including PWD and 283/45th percentile for UR-PWD) in their respective categories are eligible for participating in the counselling for All India 50% quota MD/MS/PG Diploma seats to be conducted by DGHS, MoHFW.
2) The All India 50 per cent Quota Scorecard of candidates who are eligible for online counselling for All India 50% quota seats can be seen and downloaded from the NEET-PG website at nbe.edu.in.
3) The candidates must note that there will be 4 rounds of AIQ counselling - AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
4) The candidates must note that no seat will be reverted back to the respective states after completion of round 2 of AIQ.
5) The reservation policy of AIQ for Central Institutes/University as well as State contributed seats are as follows:
i) S.C.- 15%
ii) S.T.- 7.5%
iii) O.B.C.- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list- 27%
iv) EWS- as per Central Government norms - 10%
v) PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms- 5%
In this regard, the candidates must note that NEET PG counselling process AIQ round 1 open till January 17, 2022. After NEET PG AIQ round 1 registration, the candidates will have to select and confirm the colleges between January 13 and January 17. While the verification of candidates will be done by institutes between January 18 and January 19, the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on January 22.
