NEET 2021 exam date latest news: The NEET 2021 exam candidates are eagerly waiting for the NEET dates to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NEET 2021 dates can be announced anytime soon following which the registration process for the prestigious medical exam will begin. After the announcement of the NEET dates, the aspirants will get all the necessary information on the NTA website at nta.ac.in and also on ntaneet.nic.in.

The NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi on Thursday, March 11, confirmed that the UG NEET 2021 exam will be held once this year as per a report by The Indian Express.

After the NEET 2021 exam dates are announced, the candidates need to follow some simple steps to complete the registration process. These are as follows:

Step-1: Apply for 'Online Registration' using your or parents unique email id and mobile number.

Step-2: Fill in the 'Online Application Form' and note down the system generated application number.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of the candidate’s latest passport size photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb), post card size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb - 300 kb), the candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb), left hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format, class 10 pass certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

Step-4: Pay fee using SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm payment gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid safely for future reference.

The NEET exam is conducted every year for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will also be made through NEET.

A candidate must have completed class 12 or any equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English from CBSE or any other state board in order to appear for the NEET 2021 exam.

The NEET 2021 candidates must remember that each correct answer consists of four marks while one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/ best option.

Here is the subject-wise marks division for the NEET exam:
