Karnataka Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Postponed: The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country has been more dangerous than the first wave. In view of the surge in the number of coronavirus cases across the country, several exams are being cancelled or postponed. The recent addition to this list is Karnataka Class 12 Board Exam 2021.

As per a tweet, by ANI, the Karnataka government has postponed the Class 12 Class 12 (second PUC) exams. The Class 11 (1st PUC) students will be promoted to the next class. The ANI tweet reads, "Class 12 (second PUC) exams postponed, Class 11 (1st PUC) students to be promoted. Teachers to work from home due to rising COVID19 cases: S Suresh Kumar, Karnataka Education Minister."

It has to be noted that the Karnataka PUC II Exams 2021 were earlier scheduled to begin from May 24, 2021. Earlier the state government had postponed Karnataka PUC II Exams 2021 practical tests. It had decided to conduct the class 12 practical exams in June after theory papers.

Amidst the rising number of COVID-19 cases across the country, students across the country are now urging the Union Ministry of Education to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board examinations due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates have taken on the social media to raise their concern. On May 1, 2021, students across the country started a campaign on Twitter with the hashtag #cancel12th board exams 2021.

Incidentally, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postpone CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The CBSE also notified that the decision regarding the revised date sheet for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be informed after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was supposed to start from today, May 4, 2021 and continue till June 14, 2021.
