When will JEE Main 2021 April and May sessions take place?
Now, this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) planned to conduct the JEE Main Exam 2021 in four cycles. The February and March sessions have been completed and the results have been declared. However, due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the JEE Main 2021, April and May sessions had to be postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued notifications on the postponement of JEE Main 2021 April and May session exams.
As per an ANI report, the JEE Main 2021 April and May session exams are most likely to be held in July to August according to some sources and reports. Also, it is known that the NTA will announce the dates for the remaining two sessions of JEE Main 2021 Exams at least 15 days before the exams. The JEE Main 2021 exam dates for April and May sessions will be rescheduled later and will be announced on the official website.
Will NEET UG 2021 take place on August 1, 2021?
As far as the NEET UG 2021 Exam was concerned, the NTA had released a notification on March 12, 2021, informing that the NEET UG 2021 Exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on August 1, 2021. However, the registration for the exam has not yet been started. The notification mentioned that information bulletin consisting of detailed information and the submission of the application form will start on the official NEET website at ntaneet.nic.in, however, nothing has started yet.
Recently, a source was quoted as saying by news agency PTI, "A review meeting is likely to be conducted soon to decide on the schedule of the pending editions of JEE-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1."
Documents required for NEET UG registration
The NEET UG 2021 candidates must note that they need to keep certain documents handy for filling the online application form. These documents are as follows:
1) Scanned image of the latest passport size photograph of the candidate
2) Scanned image of the candidate's postcard size photograph
3) Scanned image of the candidate's signature
4) Scanned image of the candidate's left hand thumb impression
5) Scanned image of Class 10 passing certificate
