JEE Main Exam Dates: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 examination will begin from 1st September 2020 and will end on 6th September 2020. This year JEE Main Exam will be fully computer-based and students will have to follow strict guidelines as it is happening after COVID-19 lockdown.

The JEE Examination body has made it clear that there will be at least a gap of one computer between each and every student. To inculcate all students, the JEE Examination body has increased the number of centers from 570 to 660 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Not just examination centers, the shifts of the examination has also been increased. The JEE Main Examination body has made it clear that the shifts of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 has been increased from 8 to 12 which will be conducted as per the schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The increase in the number of sift indicates that the exams will be held in two shifts per day.
In JEE Main Exam 2020, around 85,000 students will appear in 660 centers in one shift. The first shift will be between 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The JEE Main 2020 is being conducted by NTA for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. for the next academic year (2020-2021) in two phases.
