JEE Main 2021 starts today! Check dates and NTA guidelines before visiting exam centres

Attention JEE Main 2021 students! JEE Main examination 2021 starts from today. The JEE Main engineering entrance exam will be held over a period of four days in February this year. The dates for the JEE Main 2021 are 23, 24, 25 and 26.
The JEE Main 2021 which is starting from today will be held in two shifts as per a report by The Times of India. The timing for the morning shift is 9 am to 12 pm. The evening shift will start from 3 pm and will continue till 6 pm.

On the first day of the examination, the B.Arch and B.Planning papers will take place.
This year, the exam will be conducted in four sessions. According to National Testing Agency (NTA) data, more than 6,61,761 candidates have applied for the JEE Main February session. About 5,04,540 students have applied for March 2021 cycle, followed by 4,98,910 and 5,09,972 candidates for April and May sessions, respectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic is still on and keeping in mind the safety of the students, the NTA has issued certain safety measures for the candidates, invigilators and other officials. The measures are as follows:
1) Hand sanitizers will be made available at the entrance of the examination centres
2) The seating arrangements of the students will be sanitized prior to the exam
3) Candidates need to wear masks throughout the exams
4) The admit cards of the candidates will be scanned by the barcode scanners
5) Gaps between the seating arrangements of the students will have to be maintained
The JEE Main 2021 exam will take place in 331 cities across the country in two shifts.
