The JEE (Main) 2021 Session 4 has been postponed. It will now be held on 26th, 27th and 31st August, and on 1st and 2nd September 2021, informed Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday, July 15.
He has also asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide a gap of four weeks between session 3 and session 4 of the JEE(Main) 2021 Exam.

A total of 7.32 lakh candidates have already registered for JEE(Main) 2021 session 4. Registrations for the JEE (Main) session 4 is still in progress and dates for registration will be further extended up to 20th July.
Earlier, the NTA was conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2021 for the postponed April Session (Session – 3) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at different centres located in 334 cities throughout the country and abroad on 20 July, 22 July, 25 July, and 27 July 2021.
NTA has further informed that “Registration for the JEE (Main) May 2021 (Session – 4) is in progress. Meanwhile, representations are being received from candidates seeking extension of the last date for submission of online applications forms for the exam, on account of difficulties, being experienced by them due to COVID-19 and the disruptions caused by it. With a view to remove hardships caused to candidates and to ensure larger participation of candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date further for: submission of Online Application Form by new candidates and withdrawal/ correction by the existing/ interested candidates for the exam.”
The subjects include for Session-4 (postponed May 2021) B.E./B.Tech. (Paper-1) & B.Arch. (Paper-2A) / B.Planning (Paper-2B)
Submission of Application Form Online can be done till 15 July 2021 (up to 09:00 PM).
The last date for payment of the Application Fee Online is 15 July 2021 (up to 11:50 PM).
