CISCE Board ISC Exams Result 2021: Assessment Details - Indian School Certificate to consider THIS for Class 12 examination

After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) board has also submitted assessment details for the Class 12 examination. The ISCE board said that it will also declare the results by July 30, along with CBSE. The Supreme Court has approved the marking scheme submitted by the board on June 17, 2021. 

The assessment scheme released by the board includes student’s marks in Class 10 board exams, projects, practical work in subjects, best marks obtained in school exams in Classes 11 and 12, and best performance of the school itself in the last six years. The CISCE has arrived at this after considering data from 2015 to 2020, according to Hindustan Times.

The CISCE had earlier mentioned that it is committed to devising a fair and unbiased criterion as stated earlier. The criterion on which basis the results will be declared from the ICSE (Class 10) students and the date of result declaration will be announced by the CISCE later. 

ICSE informs Supreme Court that it will consider the best of three years' performance for declaring its class 12 (ISC) results. It will consider students' Class 10 board results, followed by the performance in class 11 and Class 12. Dispute resolution will be incorporated, CISCE added. Rationalisation of results of schools will be taken for the past six years. CBSE had taken the past 3 years for rationalisation. 

Senior advocate JK Das appearing for CISCE said they would also assess students based on performance in Class 10, 11, and 12 by taking the best marks awarded in these years. 

The CISCE decided to cancel the ISC Class 12 2021 exams on June 1, 2021. Keeping the safety, health, and wellbeing of students, teaching faculty and all stakeholders on top priority. It also informed that after the declaration of the ISC Class 12 year 2021 results, if some candidates are not satisfied with the marks awarded to them, the CISCE will give an option to such candidates to write the ISC examination at a later date, when the situation is conducive to conduct the same.
