KVPY Exam 2022 Postponed: Due to the rising number of COVID-19 as well as Omicron variant cases throughout the country, various states have once again closed the schools and other educational institutions. Now, various exams are also scheduled to be held in the meantime. However, the increasing cases have been a cause of concern for the candidates. The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) aptitude test is scheduled to take place on January 9, 2022 but there were doubts among the candidates whether the test will be held on the scheduled date.

The KVPY has posted on its official website that KVPY Aptitude test which was scheduled on January 9, 2022 will be held as per the schedule. The post said, "KVPY Aptitude test will be conducted on 9th January 2022 as scheduled. In view of the COVID-19 situation, several states have imposed additional containment measures including curfew,  candidates are advised to carry ID proof and Admit card in case of verification. Please carefully read the travel advisory and follow the norms in respective states to appear for the aptitude test on 9th January 2022."

The KVPY 2022 candidates must note that the admit cards for the KVPY aptitude test has already been released and the candidates can download them by logging in to the official website of KVPY at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.

In order to download the admit cards, the candidates will have to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:

Step 1: The KVPY candidates will have to login to the official website at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in

Step 2: The candidates will then have to click on the download admit card link which is present on the homepage

Step 3: The candidates will then have to enter the user ID and password

Step 4: Now the admit cards can be downloaded

It has to be noted that the KVPY is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.

The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
