IOQM exam 2022 scheduled to take place on January 9 postponed, new dates to be announced soon

IOQM 2022 Postponed: The Indian Olympiad Qualifiers in Mathematics (IOQM) 2021-2022 candidates must note that there is an important update for them.

The Mathematics Teachers’ Association (MTA) has postponed the IOQM and IOQJS exams slated to take place on January 9, 2022. The candidates can login to the official website of MTA at mtai.org.in for any queries and doubts.

"Exams postponed: Kindly note that IOQM & IOQJS slated on 9th January and IOQP & IOQB slated on 16th January has been postponed. Rescheduled dates will be announced later. Fresh hall ticket will be issued," the notice on the official website read.

There are certain decisions regarding the IOQ exams scheduled in January 2022 that are also announced from the website. In view of the worsening situation of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country, and consequent closure of educational institutions and travel restrictions announced by the central government and different state governments, the following decisions regarding the Indian Olympiad Qualifier (IOQ) examinations scheduled in January 2022 are announced:

1) The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Junior Science (IOQJS) examinations scheduled to be held on January 9, 2022 are postponed. The new dates of these two examinations will be announced later.

2) The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Physics (IOQP) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Biology (IOQB) examinations scheduled to be held on January 16, 2022 are postponed. The new dates of these two examinations will be announced later.

3) The final decision on the conduct of the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Astronomy (IOQA) and Indian Olympiad Qualifier in (IOQC) scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022 will be announced after January 10, 2022.

4) The currently issued Hall Tickets for the examinations on January 9 and January 16 stand cancelled. Fresh Hall Tickets will be issued after new dates for the examinations are announced.
