IIM CAT Result 2021 Declared: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has announced the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 result today, January 3, 2021. The candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their scorecards by logging in to the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in.

The candidates who appeared for the IIM CAT 2021 exam must note that they need to follow some simple steps to check their results. They are as follows:

Step 1: The candidates will have to login to the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in

Step 2: The candidates will then have to click on the CAT 2021 results notification page which will be present on the home page

Step 3: The candidates will be redirected to a new page

Step 4: The candidates will then have to enter their required credentials

Step 5: The results will be displayed on screen

The IIM CAT 2021 candidates must download the results and the scorecards for future reference.

The CAT 2021 candidates must know that the CAT 2021 exam was conducted on November 28, 2021 at 438 centres spread across 156 cities in the country. The release from CAT further informs that around 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 2.30 lakh registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 83 per cent.

The flagship programme of IIMs is the two-year post-graduate programme. These two year programmes are residential in nature. The Fellow / Doctorate Programme in Management (FPM) is a fulltime doctoral level programme in management, leading to the award of a Ph.D. The Executive Post Graduate programmes are targeted at working professionals.

The CAT 2021 candidates must know that as per Government of India norms, IIMs reserve 15 per cent seats for SC candidates, 7.5 per cent seats for ST candidates, 27 per cent seats for NC-OBC candidates and up to 10 per cent seats for EWS candidates. 5 per cent seats are also reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. IIMs also provide scholarships to deserving students who need financial support.
