ICSE Board 10th result 2022: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations on Sunday announced ICSE class 10 results at 5:00 PM. Four students share the top rank with 99.8 per cent marks, and 34 are in the second spot with 99.6 per cent and 99.97 per cent of students pass the exam, a news agency PTI said in its report.
The marks of both first and second semesters are given equal weightage in the final score, board secretary Gerry Arathoon said. He added, that the candidates who did not appear for either semester 1 or semester 2 examinations will be marked absent and their results will not be declared.
For the first time in the history of the board, the CISCE conducted two examinations in a single examination year. While the semester one examination was held in November-December, 2021, the second-semester exams were held in April-May, 2022 for both class 10 and class 12.
