GATE 2023 results to be declared today: Check steps to download from direct link gate.iitk.ac.in

GATE Result 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will declare the GATE Result 2023 results today on the official website gate.iitk.ac.in. The GATE exam was held on 4, 5, 11, and 12 February 2023. The exam was conducted for 1000 marks. GATE 2023 scorecard will remain valid for three years from the date of announcement of results. The IIT uses a normalization method to convert the raw score obtained by candidates to GATE scores; based on which the results are declared.
After the declaration of results, GATE scorecards can be downloaded by the GATE-qualified candidates only. Additionally, IIT Kanpur will also be announcing the subject-wise GATE cut-off in 2023.

 GATE 2023: How to check and download result  

 Step 1: Visit the official website -- gate.iitk.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link that reads, 'GATE 2023 RESULT' (Once released) displayed on the homepage under the ‘notifications’ banner.
Step 3: A new login page will appear on the screen for candidates to enter their credentials and log in to the portal.
Step 4: Once logged in, the GATE 2023 Result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check your GATE 2023 result carefully and save it for future reference.

GATE 2023: Last year's cut-offs

In 2022, the qualifying cut-offs for metallurgical engineering were between 46.2 to 30.8, depending on the reservation categories. For engineering sciences (fluid mechanics/thermodynamics), the cut-off was between 40.3 to 26.8.  

The cut-offs of textile engineering and fibre science range between 36.8 to 25.6. For biotechnology, one had to have scored a minimum of 35.5 to 23.6, depending on reservation status. For life science (botany/ zoology), the cut-offs ranged from 33.9 to 22.5.
