DU admission 2022 process explained: Cut-off marks to be based on CUET scores for UG courses
DU Admissions 2022: Every year, over 70,000 students take admissions to these colleges and departments for graduation in science, commerce and humanities.
DU admission 2022: The results of the Common University Entrance Test for Under Graduate (CUET-UG) admissions have been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The results are available on the official website of NTA and they will remain there for 90 days. During this time, students can view and download their marks form. As the examinations were conducted for admission in 91 universities - including Delhi University, all of them will now prepare their cut-off lists. It is pertinent to mention that admissions in all central universities will be based on the CUET scores only.
Delhi University
Delhi University is the largest university in India with about 80 departments under its umbrella. These include postgraduate degrees, PhD, certificate courses, degree courses etc. There are around 79 colleges associated with it and are offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Every year, over 70,000 students take admissions to these colleges and departments for graduation in science, commerce and humanities.
DU Admission Process
In order to make the admission process smooth, Delhi University has launched the admission portal - called the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-2022) - for the Under Graduate programmes. This portal will close on October 3.
Where to apply for DU
Applicants need to register themselves on http://admission.uod.ac.in/. There, you will find CSAS registration link.
Registration Fee
There is a one-time registration fee that applicants have to submit. This is a non-refundable fee. Those belonging to the unreserved and other backward classes, etc will have to pay Rs 250. Those who are from SC, ST and PWBD categories will have to pay Rs 100.
Process of applying
There are three phases of completing the promotion. While in the first phase, applicants will have to fill out the forms for Delhi University. In the second phase, they will fill their preferences and in the last phase, there will be seat allotment-cum-admission.
Process of seat allotment
The seats will be allotted on the basis of the CUET score.
Once the seats are allotted, the candidates will have an option to accept the allotted seat before the deadline. If candidates fail to accept the provisional seat, they will not be considered for the further rounds of CSAS-2022.
The candidate who will accept the seat, their documents will be verified by the concerned colleges. Those whose applications are accepted will have to pay the admission fee.
