“CSAB - 2022 Special Rounds will be conducted only for NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs, and GFTIs (except IITs) after completion of all the JoSAA Rounds”, reads the official notification.
The Central Seat Allocation Board has released dates for counselling for the CSAB 2022 special round (CSAB). Registration for the special counselling rounds of the CSAB for 2022 will begin on October 26 and end on October 28. Interested candidates can apply for the special round at csab.nic.in.

CSAB counselling will be done via multiple rounds and the CSAB Special Round 1 seat allotment result on October 30, 2022. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be having options of Freeze, floating, sliding, surrendering, withdrawing and exiting seats from October 30 to November 1, 2022.

CSAB 2022 Counselling: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website of CSAB: csab.nic.in
Step 2: Enter your JEE Main Roll Number and other required details for registration. Update some details such as State of Eligibility, Gender, Nationality and Category.
Step 3: Upload the documents asked for.
Step 4: Pay the processing fee and confirm the registration.
CSAB 2022 Counselling: Documents required
- Class 10 Certificate
- Class 12 Certificate or Mark Sheet
- Category Certificate (applicable for ST, SC, OBC-NCL, Gen-EWS)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- State of Eligibility Certificate (applicable for candidates who passed Class 12th from outside India)
- PwD Candidates will have to upload an Affidavit
