The uncertainty over the CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 is raising a lot of concerns among the students as well as the guardians. As per a report by india.com, the Kerala CBSE Schools Management Association has written to the Union minister of education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank highlighting this concern of the CBSE Board Exam 2021 candidates and their guardians.
In its letter, the association has asked the ministry to ensure that the admissions to degree courses and various other professional courses should not be held until the declaration of the CBSE results so that the students do not lose opportunities in pursuing higher education. The letter signed by TPM Ibrahim Khan, President of Kerala CBSE School Management Association said, "The CBSE board examination of Class 12 happened to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Consequently, the publication of the result also may be delayed. In the meantime, state governments are proceeding with the senior secondary examination and the admission to degree courses will be commencing after the publishing of the results." It further stated that if the admission process is completed prior to the declaration of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results, it will deprive the CBSE students of their prospects.
The association has also requested the education ministry to clarify over the uncertainty of conducting the exams and the evaluation scheme. In its letter, the association has also expressed its concern over the fact that if the promotion of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students get delayed, there is a chance of the CBSE students migrating to the state boards.
The CBSE has already informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 has been cancelled and the results for the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students will be prepared on the basis of an 'objective criterion' to be decided by the board. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been postponed and the decision regarding the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be undertaken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021.
