CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Latest News: The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students are finally relieved now that their assessment criteria have been announced. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also informed the Supreme Court that the results for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be announced by July 31, 2021. With respect to the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, there are some important pointers that all CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students must remember. According to an ANI report, the CBSE had informed the Supreme Court that the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results will be declared by July 31, 2021. The CBSE had notified that the students who will not be satisfied with the marks allotted to them will have the option for appearing for the exams. The CBSE informed that the exams will be held between August 15, 2021 and September 15, 2021 when the situation is conducive and the marks in the marks in the optional exams will be treated as final.
The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students must note the assessment criteria on the basis of which the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results will be prepared. The assessment of the theory marks will be done in the following way:
Class 12 - Marks based on Unit Test/ Mid-term/ Pre-board Exam with 40 per cent weightage
Class 11 - Marks based on theory component of final exam with 30 per cent weightage
Class 10 - Marks based on average theory component of best three performing subjects out of five main subjects with 30 per cent weightage
It has to be noted that the marks of practical exams and internal assessments for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be on actual basis as uploaded by the schools on the CBSE portal. Furthermore, the total marks awarded to the students should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 12 Board Exams.
In order to formulate the results of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students, each CBSE-affiliated school will have to form a result committee consisting of five members. The constitution of the result committee will be in the following way:
1) Principal of the school (Chairperson)
2) Two senior-most teachers at the school, teaching Class 12
3) Two senior-most teachers from neighbouring schools teaching Class 12 co-opted as external members
It must be noted that for the implementation of the tabulation of marks for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students, the IT department of CBSE has developed a portal and it has been functional from June 21, 2021. The different sections of the portals are as follows:
1) Internal Grades Upload
2) Practical/ Project/ Internal Assessment Marks Upload
3) Class 12 Data Verification for Class 10 Roll Number, Board and Year of Passing
4) Availability of Historical Performance of Schools to be taken as a Reference for Moderation
5) Class 11 Theory Marks Data Entry and Upload
6) Class 12 Theory Marks Data Entry and Upload
7) Class 12 Complete Tabulation Sheet for Checking, Moderation of Theory Marks (Class 11 and 12) and Upload
