Sisodia tweeted “In a meeting with the central government, today demand has been raised to arrange vaccines for all the students of Class 12 before the examination. Conducting Class 12 board exams before vaccinating students will prove to be a big mistake and failure.”
He further said “The central government’s priority should be vaccination. The central government should either talk to Pfizer and arrange vaccines for 1.4 crore students and almost the same number of teachers across the country."

He said that 95 percent of the students studying in Class 12 are above 17.5 years of age. He suggested the central government to speak to the health experts if the vaccines given to people above 18 years of age can be given to Class 12 students.
“If vaccine can be given to 17.5-year-olds following the advice of health experts, then should first be applied to all students of Class 12th and all teachers,” he added.
In a press conference, the minister said that the central government was suggested to first, hold exams for limited subjects as per the existing system. Or the second option was to hold exams for all subjects but the paper duration will be curtailed to 1.5 hours and the exam will have only MCQ and short questions.
