CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Latest News: There is an air of uncertainty among the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students. When the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 last month due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the board notified that it would take a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 after a thorough review of the pandemic situation of the country on June 1, 2021. Expectedly, the Union Ministry of Education is likely to announce the decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 by today.

Meanwhile, several incidents have taken place surrounding the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 which the board exam candidates must be acquainted with. A high-level government meeting to discuss on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 took place on May 23, 2021. In the meeting, the states and the union territories were asked to send their written feedback on the same by May 25, 2021. Though there was a broad consensus towards conducting the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, states like Maharashtra put forward a 'non-examination route'. Also, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia suggested that the students must be vaccinated, or the board exams must be cancelled.
Advocate Mamta Sharma filed a PIL in the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 due to COVID-19 situation in the country. The hearing began at the apex court last Friday and was adjourned till Monday. On Friday, the apex court said, ""We permit counsel for petitioner to serve standing counsel for Central Agency, CBSE and ICSE. Sr Adv Das submits he will represent ICSE. List this matter on Monday, 11 am." Yesterday, the bench adjourned the matter till Thursday noting that competent authorities are examining all aspects and are likely to take a decision which will be placed before the court. the apex court has adjourned the plea filed for the cancellation of the CISCE CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 after being informed by the Attorney General that the government will be taking final decision in the next two days.
Notably, the CBSE has already cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and has announced an evaluation criterion for preparing the results of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students. It is expected that a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken soon. The students must also keep an eye on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in for any updates on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.
