The notification states that the as per the result tabulation policy for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the schools were informed to use the average of the best three subjects for awarding marks in Class 11 in respect of the subject that has been changed from Class 11 to Class 12.
However, in certain cases it has been reported by the schools that there is either change of total subjects or only one or two subjects of Class 11 are being offered by the students in their Class 12 after due approval from the CBSE and the rest of the subjects of Class 11 have been changed to new subjects.
Now, in case of such scenarios, the schools have to follow these two guidelines:
1) The school will ensure beforehand that the due approval has already been obtained from the CBSE as per schedule and no fresh approval requests will be entertained
2) The school will do assessment of these subjects of Class 11 by using the average of best three subjects from the subjects actually studied in Class 11
Another situation is that in certain cases it has been reported by schools that some students who were studying in that school at the time of submission of LOC were not available for examination or computation or results for various reasons. The students may have taken a TC, the student ceased to be a bonafide student due to any reason including demise and name struck-off cases. Also, in some cases the schools failed to contact with the students for the assessments and was not possible to conduct the assessments.
The CBSE has notified that in all these cases, the students have to be marked absent so that the result in respect of such students is not declared. It may be noted that the data in respect of these students may not be submitted by awarding them zero mark or anything against their names.
The CBSE cancelled the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 and has announced the marks tabulation policy. The online portal for uploading the marks of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students have also been activated. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results will be declared by July 31, 2021. For further details, the interested students must login to the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
