CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Latest News: During the Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank-chaired meeting with School Education Secretaries of all the states and union territories on May 17, 2021, CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students expected a decision on board exams to be announced. However, no decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been announced so far and the apprehensions continue to grow among the students and their parents. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students must check the CBSE official website at cbse.gov.in as a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 is expected soon.

According to an india.com report, India Wide Parents Association (IWPA) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking cancellation of the board examinations due to the rising COVID-19 cases across the country. The students have also voiced their demands for the cancellation of the board exams on social media. Several Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates have taken to Twitter and are using the hashtag #saveboardstudents with the intent of getting the class 12 board exams cancelled. In the tweets, students are urging the authorities to cancel the Class 12 Board Exam 2021. Some have also suggested to evaluate them through a criteria similar to the one used for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students. CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates have also taken to social media to raise their concern and started another campaign on Twitter with the hashtag #cancel12thboardexams2021.
In yesterday's meeting, the union education minister addressed some important issues. He thanked all the states for their commendable work in the field of education and assured of the ministry's help and support in this difficult time to fight the problem together. MoS Sanjay Dhotre stressed upon exploring ways to provide hybrid education comprising of both offline and online teaching methods.
He emphasised that scientific temperament of students will play a deciding role in post COVID world therefore education system of the country should focus on developing critical thinking ability, logical reasoning ability and scientific temper among students. He called upon everyone to work together as a team in furthering the spirit of NEP 2020 and effectively implementing it to achieve the desired goals.
Last month, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. CBSE notified that a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021. The CBSE recently has also announced the assessment criteria for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021.
