The CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exams 2021 were cancelled this year due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE formulated alternative assessment schemes for preparing the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exams 2021 results. In the recent circular issued by CBSE, it said, "As it is stands informed that disputed regarding computation of results will be referred to a committee by the CBSE, in this regard it is communication that CBSE is preparing the policy for submitting representations to CBSE."

The circular further added that the policy will be uploaded on the website of the board by August 6, 2021. The representations will only be accepted if they are made as per the recommendations in the policy.

It has to be remembered that this year for finalising CBSE 10th results 2021, each school formed a result committee as per the instructions of CBSE. The result committee consists of the principal and seven teachers. Among these seven teachers, five teachers are from the respective schools from Mathematics, Social Science, Science and two languages. The other two teachers are from neighbouring schools co-opted by the schools as external members of the committee.

Similarly, a result committee was also formed by the schools for preparing the CBSE 12th results 2021. The committee consisted of five members, including the principal of the school, two senior-most teachers at the school teaching class 12 and two senior-most teachers from neighbouring schools teaching Class 12 co-opted as external members.

Following the declaration of CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2021 results, the schools who are trying to make contact with CBSE are requested to make representations once the policy on the disputes regarding computation of marks, is uploaded on the website. The CBSE has further stated that the board is committed to resolve all the representations within the time frame as stated in the policy.
