CBSE Board exams Class 10, Class 12, JEE, NEET 2021: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishak went live on Twitter today i.e December 10 to talk about CBSE Class 10, Class 12 board and competitive exams— NEET and JEE. He started by addressing students in general and congratulating CBSE officials for successfully conducting ‘massive’ JEE and NEET exams during these difficult times of Covid 19. On CBSE Class 10, Class 12, JEE, NEET 2021 exams, Education Minister’s Twitter interaction with the students was part of his own initiative to reach out to them to provide some clarity about these exams. Earlier, thousands of students had put forth their points before the Minister ahead of his ‘Education Minister goes live’ campaign.
However, as far as CBSE Class 10, Class 12 exams 2021 are concerned, then Pokhriyal did not announce the dates. He did address questions posed by students, seeking clarity on CBSE class 10, Class 12, NEET 2021, JEE 2021 exams. Lets have a look at them one-by-one.
CBSE Board Exams 2021: Talking about the board exams, he assured the students that the announcement about dates of these exams would be made much in advance so that students get enough time to be exam ready. “The board would continue to assess the situation and would take appropriate decide on the best possible solution in terms of schedule of the exam,” he said.
CBSE Class 10, 12 exam 2021 syllabus: About clarity on syllabus, he said the revised syllabus of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations will soon be uploaded on the official website: cbse.nic.in.
CBSE Class 10, 12 exam 2021 Practical exams: Addressing question of one of the students who asked the Education Minister that practicals are done in labs and when the schools were closed, how could students be expected to appear in practical exams. To that, Pokhriyal said, “ The Board might think of an alternative to that. However, it is also possible that students might be asked to take practical exams in their own schools by following all Covid-19 guidelines,” he said stressing that people are getting infected even at home and necessary precautions if taken, massive exams like JEE and NEET could be conducted too.
JEE, NEET 2021 exams 2021: Education Minister made it clear that NEET 2021 exams won’t be cancelled, however, all possible efforts would be made to announce dates of these exams at the earliest. “The examination was postponed thrice in 2020 and students were also given an opportunity to change their test centres. We could have cancelled the exam but it would have been a great loss for students and the country," he added.

JEE, NEET 2021 exams syllabus: About syllabus cut for JEE and NEET exams, he said discussions are underway about reducing the JEE 2021 and NEET 2021 syllabus. “There is a possibility that the pattern of the question paper may be tweaked for the entrance examinations,” he said.
