CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021: There has been a lot of clamour regarding the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. On May 1, 2021, students across the country started a campaign on Twitter with the hashtag #cancel12th board exams 2021. Last month, the CBSE had cancelled the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. There has been no official confirmation from CBSE regarding cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The students are requested to keep an eye on the CBSE website at cbse.nic.in for regular updates.

Keeping in view the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country, the CBSE had cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. However, second wave of the pandemic has further deteriorated the COVID-19 situation in the country and amidst this situation, the students are demanding cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 as well. As per a report by India.com, students across the country are now urging the Union Ministry of Education to cancel Class 12 Board examinations due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates have taken on the social media to raise their concern and started a campaign on Twitter with the hashtag #cancel12thboardexams2021.
The CBSE had already stated that the board would decide on the revised date sheet for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation of the country on June 1, 2021. It has also stated that the students would be notified of the exams at least 15 days before the commencement of the exams.
As the CBSE has already cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, the Class 10 2021 students will be evaluated on the basis of an 'objective criterion'. The CBSE has also clarified the marks tabulation policy for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam candidates in this regard.
The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students will be assessed out of maximum 100 marks for each subject. As per the policy of the board, 20 marks will be allotted to internal assessment and 80 marks for year-end board exams.As per the CBSE notification, the CBSE-affiliated schools will assess the 80 marks of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students in the following ways:
a) based on the marks scored by the candidate in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year
b) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board exams
