CBSE Board Exams Class 10 2022: The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam students for the academic year 2021-22 pay attention as there is something very important for you. On Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced special evaluation scheme for CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam students for the academic year 2021-22. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022 students must note that as per this new special evaluation scheme, more emphasis will be given on internal assessment. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022 candidates must known the details of the scheme in order to perform better in their exams.

This year, the CBSE had to cancel the CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the cancellation of the board exams, the CBSE had to explore alternative options to compile the results of the board exam candidates. On June 17, 2021, Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE Controller of Exams, has informed ANI the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be declared by July 20, 2021 and the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 result will be declared by July 31, 2021.

Now, coming back to the special assessment scheme of CBSE for Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2022, the CBSE has written a letter to the heads of all CBSE-affiliated institutions that stated the schemes that will be introduced for CBSE Class 10 Class 12 for academic year 2021-22. 

As per the letter sent by CBSE to all the heads of CBSE-affiliated schools, the 2021-22 academic session will be divided into two terms with approximately 50 per cent syllabus in each term. This division will be done by following a systematic approach by looking into the interconnectivity of the concepts and the topics by the subject experts. The board will conduct examinations at the end of each term on the basis of the bifurcated syllabus. This is done to increase the probability of having a board conducted classes 10 and 12 exams at the end of the academic session.

Also, the syllabus for CBSE Class 10 Class Board Exams 2022 will be rationalised which will be similar to that of the academic session to be notified in July 2021.

Furthermore, efforts will be made to make internal assessment/ practical/project work more credible and valid as per the guidelines and moderation policy to be announced by the board to ensure fair distribution of marks.

The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022 students must also note the pointer on internal assessment. For classes 9 and 10, internal assessment throughout the year irrespective of term 1 and 2 would include the three periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work/ speaking, listening activities/ project.

The schools would create a student profile for all assessment undertaken over the year and retain the evidence in digital format. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022 candidates must note that the internal assessment for all subjects will also release along with the rationalised term-wise divided syllabus for the session 2021-22.
