CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 Evaluation Criteria: Finally, there is some relief for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students. Since the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the cancellation of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, there were huge concerns among the candidates as well as their parents regarding the marking scheme. The CBSE has now clarified on the marking scheme and has also announced the result date for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021. The students can check the CBSE tabulation policy for Class 10 Board Exam 2021 at official CBSE website cbse.nic.in.

Recently, CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj confirmed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be announced by June 20, 2021. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students must keep in mind some of the important points relating to the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. They are as follows:
1) The CBSE has clarified the fact that while developing this assessment policy for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, the board has focused on four key principles - reliability, fairness, flexibility and validity.
2) The CBSE has notified that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students will be assessed out of maximum 100 marks for each subject. As per the policy of the board, 20 marks will be allotted to internal assessment and 80 marks for year-end board exams.
3) As of now, most of the schools have already conducted the internal assessment and a majority of the schools have already uploaded their data on the CBSE portal.
4) As per the CBSE notification, the CBSE-affiliated schools will assess the 80 marks of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students in the following ways:
a) based on the marks scored by the candidate in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year
b) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board exams
5) It is known from the information collected that the schools have conducted different type and number of test and exams. The exams that will be used for school-based assessment and weightage are as follows:
Category Maximum Marks
1) Periodic Test/ Unit Test 10
2) Half Yearly/ Mid-term Exam 30
3) Pre-board Exam 40
6) In case any school has conducted more than one test within a particular category, in that case, the Result Committee may fix the weightage to be given to each test/exam within the category of the subject to the overall maximum marks for that category.
The CBSE has asked CBSE-affiliated schools to form a result committee consisting of principal and seven teachers for finalizing the results. Five teachers from the school should be from Mathematics, Social Science, Science and two languages. Also, two teachers from neighbouring schools should be co-opted by the school as the external members of the committee.
CBSE exam controller informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be announced by June 20. Bhardwaj stated that those CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates who have not appeared in enough tests through the year, the schools will conduct online or telephonic assessment for them by May 15 and will have to finalise the result by May 25. He also added that the marks will have to be submitted to the CBSE by June 11 and the result will be declared by June 20.
Incidentally, the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 was supposed to start from today, May 4, 2021.
