CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 Latest Updates: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has cleared most of the doubts about the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 including the uncertainties surrounding the schedule of the exams. However, he has not specified any dates on which exams will be held. While the exams are not happening in February 2021 because of the pandemic, he did say that dates will be announced later. The decision on the schedule of the board examinations will be taken after due consultations and assessment of the situation.

1) Reduced CBSE Syllabus to The Rescue - The biggest relief is on the syllabus front as the students will now appear for the exams with less syllabus to prepare for. Over 30 per cent of the total syllabus has been cut and some states have also announced a similar move while others are expected to do the same. This is a great help for the students. They should plan their study routine keeping in mind the 70 per cent syllabus and not 100 per cent.
Students should know what has been left out and what is there to avoid confusion and also a situation of extra preparation which is not required.
2) Adopting smart strategies - Students can start by carefully dividing the syllabus and creating timelines to achieve them. This should be done with all subjects. They can also adopt smart learning techniques like using videos to understand complicated science and mathematics topics, create, charts acronyms and other shortcuts to understand and memorise things.
3) Identify topics that are difficult - Students must filter the important topics in terms of marks they carry and the ones that that they feel will be asked in the exams. They can devote more time to such topics.
4) Practice from old papers, be vigilant of common errors - Always refer to sample question papers which will give you idea of the paper pattern and the marks allotment section wise. Find commonly made mistakes in board exams. This will help them save marks.
5) Time Management - The time duration for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 have a set duration of three hours. Time management is very important. Students should take mock tests to familiarise with it.
