CBSE board exams 2021 date sheet class 10, class 12: Top 10 points no student should miss

CBSE board exams 2021 date sheet class 10, class 12: Students are a very worried lot these days. So are their parents. There are so many things going around CBSE board 2021 exams, but very little information is available to indicate anything about the confirmed dates of the upcoming board exams.  Even Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank did not reveal anything concrete about the CBSE board 2021 exams date sheet in his webinar on December 10. In the webinar, he had taken to Twitter to talk to all CBSE stakeholders concerned to discuss about CBSE board exams 2021 competitive exams. Let’s have a look at developments so far to understand where the CBSE and Ministry of Education stand and how prepared students should be as far as CBSE board exams 2021 are concerned.  

1 On CBSE board exams 2021 cancellation: One thing that Education Minister Pokhriyal and Dr Sanyam Bharadwaj (Controller of Exams, CBSE) have reiterated is that the CBSE board exam Class 10 and Class 12 2021 won’t be cancelled.

2 On CBSE board exams 2021 date sheet: Probable CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exam date sheet will be prepared only after the consultation with all the stakeholders.  

3 On CBSE board exams 2021 probable date: CBSE Date Sheet 2021 will be published shortly. It is not fixed that the exams will be held in March. They may be or perhaps they won't be. No official decision made so far. Decision on CBSE board exams 2021 date sheet would be taken after considering into account all the factors, including Covid-19.

4 On CBSE board exams 2021 gap: Exams will be held in such a way that students will get more gap days. This was reiterated by both the CBSE and education minister.

5 On CBSE board exams 2021 syllabus: On syllabus cut, it was made clear that there were no plans to further reduce CBSE Syllabus 2021, either of theory exams or practicals. What has been done has been announced already. 

6 CBSE board exams 2021 Practicals: The education minister had said it will be conducted in school labs when the normal classes will resume. The board is yet to issue a notification in this regard. An external examiner will be deputed for practical examinations

7 On alternative option for CBSE board exams 2021 practicals:  Interacting with students, teachers, and parents on December 10, the education minister had said that if students are not able to go to schools for practical exams, alternate options will be given.

8 On CBSE board exams 2021 Pattern: Examination pattern or the typology of question paper will be the same as followed in the CBSE Sample Papers 2021 (issued by CBSE)

9 On CBSE board 2021 Exam centres: CBSE will increase the number of examination centers but there will be no home center.

10 On CBSE board exams 2021 Covid protocols: It has been decided that only 12 students will be seated in an exam room in the wake of Covid-19.
