CBSE Board Exams 2021: Class 12 candidates don't MISS the syllabus, chapter wise weightage for Physics exam and other details!

CBSE Board Exams 2021: With the board exams to start in less than two months, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 students are leaving no stones unturned to score better marks. The CBSE had released the revised time sheets for the class 10 and class 12 board exams. The board exams for class 10 and class 12 are slated to commence from May 4, 2021.

For class 12 science stream students, Physics can be a very scoring subject if they get their understanding and applications correct. If a student lacks a clear concept about the subject, then it can prove to be very costly during the CBSE board exam. However, if the class 12 science stream students pursuing Physics get their concepts clear and prepare strategically for the board exams then scoring high marks is not going to be very difficult for them.

The CBSE class 12 Physics exam is slated to take place on June 8.

Following is the list of topics for the Physics exam and the marks division that might be useful to the CBSE class 12 students who opted for Physics:

Chapter- 1: Electric Charges and Fields
Chapter- 2: Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

Unit-2 Current Electricity
Chapter - 3: Current Electricity

17 marks

Unit-3 Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism
Chapter- 4: Moving Charges and Magnetism
Chapter - 5: Magnetism and Matter

Unit-4 Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents
Chapter - 6: Electromagnetic Induction
Chapter -7: Alternating Current

18 marks

Unit-5 Electromagnetic Waves
Chapter - 8: Electromagnetic Waves

Unit-6 Optics
Chapter- 9: Ray Optics and Optical Instruments
Chapter -10: Wave Optics

12 marks

Unit-7 Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter
Chapter- 11: Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter

Unit-8 Atoms and Nuclei

Remembering and Understanding - 27 marks (38 per cent)
Applying - 22 marks (32 per cent)
Analysing, Evaluating and Creating - 21 marks (30 per cent)
