The rise in Covid 19 cases have forced state governments to take several measures, including shutting of educational institutions, to tackle the spread of Coronavirus infection. Due to this fresh surge in the covid case, many board and competititive exams have been either postponed or cancelled for now. Recently, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) postponed the UP Boards Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021, which was scheduled to start from April 24. The decision to postpone UP Board exams 2021 has been taken in the view of Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Election and surge in Covid 19 cases, as per news agency ANI.

Since the UP Board postponed Class 10, 12 board exams 2021, there is clamour among CBSE students too to cancel the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021. Apprantely, over lakh of CBSE students have also signed a petition, seeking cancellation of CBSE Exams 2021, said PTI.  

As per the news agency, both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have said that adequate safety arrangements are being made for students and all COVID-19 guidelines will be followed during the exams. "Adequate arrangements are being made to ensure the students are safe and all COVID protocols are followed. The number of exam centres has been increased by 40-50 per cent to ensure social distancing. The staff at exam centres is being sensitised to ensure all guidelines are followed," PTI quoted a CBSE official making this statement.  

CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams 2021 are all set to commence from May 4, 2021 and will continue till June 14, 2021. 

Earlier, The UP Board has released UP Board Class 10, class 12 revised date sheet on its official website. The new revised exam time table for class 10 & 12 can be seen on the UP Board official website: upmsp.edu.in. As per the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 revised datesheet, the exams will now commence from May 8 and conclude on May 28, 2021.
